| In celebration of Mr. Wesley's 300th birthday in June 2003, Tom Dillon (Christ UMC - Plano) perpetuated the Wesley portrayal ministry originally conceived and developed in 1975 by Bill Vance (First UMC - Hurst). This ongoing ministry was featured in the United Methodist Reporter in June, 2002 (see story) and the Dallas Morning News (Religion section - Aug. 3, 2002). |
